Dr Kapagiannidis Dimitrios was graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, School of Dentistry in 1980. He also was obtained his two-year dental technician certification in 1977. In 1996 he obtained his Certification of NYU Postgraduate CED program on Implantology. He obtained a 3-year postgraduate program on Prosthodontics (1997-2000) from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki School of Dentistry.
His teaching experience encompasses: Laboratory Assistant at the School of Dental Technicians (1979–1980). Clinical Assistant at the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics at the Dental School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2001–2007).
He is the author of the book “The Colour as parameter of tooth aesthetics: Principles of Colorimetry (2006). University Studio Press, Thessaloniki” as well as many articles on tooth colour and dental aesthetics.
He has lectured widely on dental aesthetics and mainly on optical behaviour of teeth and aesthetic restorative materials. He has also lectured on dental occlusion and functioning of restorations.
His clinical interest is focused on the function and esthetic appearance of the conventional and implant-supported restorations.
