WEBINAR ANALYSIS
Lecture:
Preparation Guidelines for the Periodontally Compromised Teeth

Speaker: Dr. Stefano Lombardo
The workflow of each prosthetic rehabilitation requires first of all an excellent preparation of the teeth. In patients with an aged supracrestal attachment system, particular attention must be paid to the finishing area and the prosthetic emergence profile.
The choice of vertical or horizontal preparation margin on both natural teeth and implants requires different prosthetic protocols, but the factors of long-term biological and prosthetic success are many: we will analyze together the clinical and laboratory aspects from the traditional analogical point of view and from the most innovative digital way.

Devital Teeth- Intraradicular Posts or Endocrowns?
Speaker: Prof. George Papavasiliou
Prosthetic rehabilitation of endodontically treated teeth is one of the most important issues for clinical dentists. In recent years, two factors have significantly influenced the philosophy of restoration of endodontically treated teeth:

A. The clinically, established and proven by research, need for the greatest possible preservation of healthy dental tisue leading to highly conservative restorations.
B. Our growing knowledge in the field of dental adhesion, assisted by the existence of strong and aesthetic materials, able to cope with the needs of different restorations.

In this webinar, the basic principles of restoring endodontically treated teeth that will receive full and partial coverage indirect restorations will be presented. Periodontal interventions that expand the use of endodontically treated teeth will be presented. Finally, all the restorative options like onlays, “endo-crowns”, fiber-posts, cast post and cores will be presented, as well as the choices of methods and materials for impressions and luting of such restorations.
