I was born in Thessaloniki in 1988. I completed my basic education in Katerini. I obtained my undergraduate degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, School of Dentistry, Greece (2006-2012). Afterwards, Ι worked as a General Dentist in two different Hospitals and a private practice in Greece. Throughout these eight years my wish to specialize in the field of Endodontics became robust, which led me to apply and enroll in the University of Toronto. I completed my master’s degree in Endodontics in the University of Toronto, Canada over a three-year full-time course (combined MSc and clinical Specialty Program in Endodontics; July 2015 – July 2018). During my studies, I worked as clinical instructor in the undergraduate endodontic clinical program for two years. The research field of my interest is “Irrigation”. The subject of my thesis was “Effects of final irrigation with CHX and EDTA based irrigant combined with detergents οn the surface of dentin using surface analytical methods”. A summary of it, is published in the JOE (Piperidou, Myrto et al. Journal of Endodontics, Volume 44, Issue 11, 1714 – 1719 and it was presented in the annual conference of American Association of Endodontists (AAE) in 2018, in Colorado, US. Since 2019, I live and work in Athens, as an associate endodontist with Dr Klaire Papadouli in her private practice, limited to Endodontics.
