Multidisciplinary approach for the rehabilitation of atrophic ridges

Abstract:

The webinar will focus on clinical cases demonstrating big bone deficiency resulted by usage of improper prosthesis, periodontal disease, failing implants and poor treatment planning. In these extreme cases, two options are available: 1. Guided bone regeneration methods to achieve a sufficient foundation for the rehabilitation of these extreme cases. 2. Remote anchorage utilizing pterygoid and zygomatic implants.
Special emphasis will be given to the multidisciplinary approach, facilitating immediate atrophic jaw rehabilitation.
Step-by-step 3D planning, bone and soft tissue reconstructions with the final prosthesis, will be shown with a long follow-up period. Innovative approaches speeding up the treatment time like Osseodensification and growth factors incorporation fabricated from autologous blood, will be discussed in detail.
