Safe and effective root canal preparation with OneCurve® rotary files system

Abstract:
Complete debridement and filling of the root canal system is a prerequisite for success in endodontics. Mechanical shaping along with irrigation aims to eliminate bacteria and necrotic tissue. NiTi instruments have revolutionised the way dentists perform endodontics in their daily clinical practice. Newer systems promise to deliver time-efficient shaping with fewer files.

OneCurve®is a revolutionary rotary shaping system with unique features. It allows to successfully treat the majority of root canals with a single rotary file in most of the cases. Recently, the system has been enriched with new files that allow the effective debridement of most root canal anatomies.

The purpose of this webinar is to present the characteristics of this system, and explain its advantages in order to achieve the desirable results in clinical practice. The participants will learn how to use the basic and advanced sequences in any clinical scenario. Moreover, they will learn tips and tricks that make the clinician’s life easier and the route to success less stressful and more predictable.

A live demonstration will take place with the new MM.Tooth, which is the 3D printed perfect reproduction of a natural mandibular molar from a micro-computed tomography. MM.Tooth is made of a material which is very similar to natural dentin so that each step of the treatment, from coronal flaring to obturation, is comparable to real clinical practice. It is transparent and therefore allows for an optimal view of the instruments’ progression inside the different root canals. It also enables you to assess the quality of the root canal shaping, and the perfect adjustment of the master cone for the final obturation.
