As. Prof. Panagiotis Zoidis

DDS, MS, PhD, FICD

Short BIO

Dr. Panagiotis Zoidis, DDS, MS, PhD, FICD is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Prosthodontics in the Department of Restorative Dental Sciences at the University of Florida, College of Dentistry. He is the Director of the Preclinical Fixed Prosthodontics II Course and is currently teaching in the prosthodontics preclinical, clinical and graduate courses. He has been working as a Prosthodontist in the private sector for the last 20 years running two private practices in Athens, Greece. He currently participates in UF Prosthodontics Faculty Practice.
Dr. Zoidis received his DDS degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Dental School in Greece in 1992 and completed specialty training in Prosthodontics at Temple University School of Dentistry in 1993, earning a Master’s Degree in Oral Biology. He also earned a PhD in Dental Materials from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Dental School.
He has conducted numerous research projects and has served as a primary research advisor for Master’s theses dissertations and also as a member in PhD theses dissertation committees.
Dr. Zoidis is the author of numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and is currently a reviewer in several scientific journals. He has also been an invited speaker for Prosthodontics at numerous international dental meetings around the world.

He is one of the 105 individuals in Europe listed as Specialists on the European Prosthodontic Association Specialty List and has served as Vice Regent of the International College of Dentists for District 7 in Greece and Cyprus.

Dr. Zoidis is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, the International College of Prosthodontics, the European Prosthodontic Association, and a Fellow of the international College of Dentists.
