Abstract:

In complex full-mouth rehabilitations, long-term provisionals play a critical role in refining occlusion, function, and aesthetics before finalizing the definitive restorations. With the integration of advanced digital technologies—including intraoral scanning, CAD/CAM, and guided prosthetics—clinicians can design, test, and optimize restorations with unprecedented accuracy. This lecture will explore how digital workflows, combined with strategically designed long-term provisionals, help achieve occlusion-driven aesthetics, improve patient adaptation, and reduce complications. Clinical cases will illustrate how these protocols enhance predictability, longevity, and patient satisfaction in comprehensive rehabilitations.
