Σύντομο Βιογραφικό

Prof. Dr.mult. Robert Sader has received his training in OMF-Surgery at Technical University Munich. After working at University Hospital Basel, in 2004 he was appointed as professor, director and chair of Oral, Cranio-Maxillofacial and Facial Plastic Surgery at Goethe-University Frankfurt. His department offers the whole spectrum from dentoalveolar surgery, dental implantology, traumatology, orthognatics, TMJ surgery, oncology, plastic-reconstructive and craniofacial surgery. In Frankfurt he is as well medical director and CEO of the University Dental Institute “Carolinum”. About 350 published peer-reviewed articles show a profund scientific work. One main clinical research focus is the development and application of innovative 3D-technologies in maxillofacial surgery and dental implantology. Prof. Sader started his scientific work on 3D-printing and virtual operation planning in 1991. Actual scientific focus is on interdisciplinary treatment of cleft lip and palate patients and treatment concepts in regenerative medicine and dentistry, especially using new biomaterials. He is honorary professor at the University of Leon/Nicaragua, University of Duschanbe/Tadschikistan and Ragas Dental College and Hospital Chennai/India as well as Visiting professor at Toyko Medical University in Japan.
He has the following honorary positions: President of the German Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry” and the Frankfurt Dental Association founded in 1863, both since 2009; Executive Board Member of the International Foundation of Cleft Lip and Palate, Educational Board Member of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery; General Secretary of the International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry, Councillor Western Europe of the Association of Dental Education of Europe.
