Dr Pravinkumar Patil is an Associate Professor in Prosthodontics, Programme Director of PG Diploma in Prosthodontics, and Implant research cluster lead in IMU School of Dentistry Kuala Lumpur. He is examiner for RCS Edinburgh Diploma in Implant Dentistry and ITI Diploma in Implant Dentistry. He is ITI research committee Member. He is a member of Council of Prosthodontic Research (CPR) by Indian Prosthodontic Society and a committee member of Association for Maxillofacial Prosthodontics and Rehabilitation in India (AMPRI). He is an Adjunct Professor in Dental Colleges in Pune, Wardha, and Nagpur. He is Associate Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Prosthodontics & Restorative Dentistry, Academic Editor of PLOS ONE, International Journal of Dentistry, & Case Report in Dentistry and Editorial Board Member of The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. He has secured over USD 97,000/- research grants including 2 ITI grants as a primary applicant, FRGS grant & IMU grants Malaysia, and LTMT grant India. He has published over 150 manuscripts and reviewed over 330. He has developed over 20 novel techniques and devices and won many awards including Kim Award at AAP 2021 and ITI Southeast Asia Congress award 2019, Publons reviewer awards. He was invited speaker at major international conferences in India, South Korea, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Myanmar.
