BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Immediate full arch implant reconstruction with immediate loading depends on achieving good primary stability. Type 4 bone presents a challenge in achieving good primary stability due to loose trabecular bone. Using the Osseodensification drills it is possible to optimise the bone while drilling by compacting the bone laterally and creating a denser bone for a better primary stability.
This webinar demonstrates the use of Osseodensification drills in a full arch with type 4 bone using the All-on-6 protocol with Southern Implants
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
After watching this webinar participants will be able to understand how to:
1. Optimize the density of available bone by moving (instead of removing) the bone laterally thereby compacting the bone for better primary stability.
2. Optimize the height of bone by lifting the sinus floor.
3. Achieve screw retention with dual-axis / co-axis Southern Implants
4. Use existing teeth for optimal implant placement and bite registration.
Certificate of Attendance
Upon satisfactory completion of this webinar, participants will be awarded with 1.5 Certified CPD credit hours.
