Implants in the Esthetic Zone: Surgical Elements for Success and Predictable Treatment Outcomes

Successful implant treatment in the aesthetic area requires proper site selection and preparation. Extraction of a hopeless anterior tooth disrupts the blood supply of the buccal bone and as a result bone resorption occurs. To mitigate the resorption process, alveolar ridge preservation (ARP) after tooth extraction, immediate implant placement or contour augmentation at the time of early implant placement with or without soft tissue grafting, represent some critical steps of the surgical approach. During this webinar current evidence will be presented, different clinical scenarios will be described and multiple surgical approaches will be thoroughly discussed.
