Removable appliances are meant to replace missing soft and hard tissues. They present some mobility in nature. During treatment, it is the goal of the clinician to identify and adapt the appliance to reduce the mobility experience and allow proper retention. Implants provide retention but also stability and support and so do retained teeth. Those 3 components of treatment in removable Prosthodontics, are evaluated in the process of planning and treatment must include measures to bring their influence to the maximum possible.
The presentation will include procedures to augment resorbed ridges to allow implant placement to support removable appliances along with retention and stbility, orthodontic preparations for redirecting roots to support removable appliances, implant placement in type I mandibular bone and some more aspects of retaining roots to support a ridge in removable prosthodontics.
After successful participation at this webinar, a certificate of attendance is awarded by the European Prosthodontic Association – EPA. You receive the certificate via email, 2-5 days after the end of the webinar.
