Prof Pradíes is a full professor and Head of the Prosthodontics Department at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM).
Currently he is the PRESIDENT of the Spanish Society of Prosthodontics and Esthetic dentistry.
He obtained his master degree in Prosthetic Dentistry at the University Complutense in 1994 and has the accreditation as a Specialist in Prosthodontics by the European Prosthodontics Association.
His research activity is focused in two main topics: CAD/CAM digital workflows and aesthetic materials for prosthodontics uses. He has published more than 90 scientific articles and various text books.
He is an international Lecturer in Prosthetic and Implant Dentistry and has won various national and international clinical and research awards.
He is the director of the MASTER PROGRAM in “Restorative Dentistry based on New Technologies” at the UCM as well as Associate Editor of Brazilean Dental Science Journal and Assistant editor of European Journal of Prosthodontics & Restorative Dentistry.
He is member of the council and the specialist committee of the EPA as well as Past President (2018)
