Webinar "Navigating Complex Full Arch Implant-Supported Restorations: Combining Analogue Methods and Digital Dentistry for Optimal Outcomes "

Abstract:

Our objective in restorative dentistry is to rebuild the tooth to it’s original outline form, biomechanical properties, occlusion and esthetics. Biomimetic dentistry is just that, restorative dentistry without removing additional tooth structure whenever possible. With that minimally invasive philosophy in mind, which material composite or ceramics is best to choose?
Dr. LeSage will share with you his 37+ years of experience of adhesive dentistry and briefly describe the indications for composite verses porcelain. With multiple parameters to help guide you in this crucial decision, he will share several pearls to recreate all-ceramic restorations that are seamless and undetectable.
Dr. LeSage will cover in this presentation his veneer classification system (published in 2013, 2020) and a new concept the TIO (Try-In One Veneer) technique. Multiple cases will be shown, several combination composite and veneer cases, but always with tooth preservation in mind.

Objectives:
1. Parameters to consider when restoring teeth with composite or porcelain.
2. Discuss the biological cost of a crown preparation verses a veneer preparation.
3. Porcelain veneer minimal preparation design, temporization, TIO technique and adhesive dentistry to achieve a predictable outcome
