Dr. Kamalakidis graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki School of Dentistry in 2001. From 2002 to 2005 he attended and completed the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Prosthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston MA, USA. In 2005 he also completed the Advanced Education in Esthetic Dentistry Fellowship Program at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston MA, USA. In 2006 he started working in his private dental clinic limited to prosthodontics. In 2009 he successfully completed the American Board of Prosthodontics written and oral examinations and was awarded the Board Certification in Prosthodontics. In 2016, he was awarded a Ph.D. degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki School of Dentistry. He has lectured both in Greece and internationally, and he has authored several articles in peer-reviewed journals. Today, he is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the division of Postgraduate Prosthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and a clinical faculty and lecturer (under contract) in the Department of Prosthodontics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki School of Dentistry. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists.
